Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using ResearchEarn.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ResearchEarn, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, submission rules, and platform guidelines.

2. Nature of the Platform

ResearchEarn is a research submission, publication, indexing and academic discovery platform that allows individuals and organizations to submit, archive, access and distribute research materials.

3. Intellectual Property & Submission Rights

By submitting any research, article, paper, project, publication, documentation, report or related material to ResearchEarn, you grant ResearchEarn a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to:

  • Publish submitted materials
  • Index and archive submissions
  • Distribute materials globally
  • Display submissions publicly
  • Share materials for academic and research purposes
  • Use excerpts for promotion and educational purposes

ResearchEarn will retain and display the original author's name where applicable.

Submitters acknowledge that submitted content may remain archived permanently on the platform even after account closure.

4. AI Generated Content Policy

ResearchEarn strongly discourages fully AI-generated submissions presented as original human research.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • Your submission represents original work or properly attributed research
  • AI tools were not used to generate misleading or fraudulent research submissions
  • Any AI-assisted content is properly reviewed and substantially modified by the submitter

ResearchEarn reserves the right to:

  • Reject suspicious submissions
  • Disable or suspend accounts
  • Remove published materials
  • Disqualify submissions from selection programs

5. Submission Windows

Monthly themes and research topics are governed by opening and closing submission periods.

  • Submissions are expected during official submission periods
  • No guarantee exists that late submissions will be reviewed during the current cycle
  • Late submissions may automatically roll over into the next review cycle or opening period
  • ResearchEarn reserves the right to extend, shorten or cancel any submission window

6. Multiple Entries

Submitters may submit multiple entries under one or multiple themes, provided each submission complies with platform rules and payment requirements where applicable.

7. Rewards & Payment Conditions

Selected submissions may qualify for rewards, grants, recognition or financial incentives.

To receive payment:

  • The submitted account number must belong to the selected submitter
  • The account must be a Nigerian Naira account where applicable
  • ResearchEarn may request additional verification before payment
  • ResearchEarn reserves the right to withhold payment in cases of fraud, impersonation or suspicious activity

8. Languages

ResearchEarn accepts submissions in multiple languages, including:

  • English
  • Pidgin English
  • Hausa
  • Igbo
  • Yoruba
  • French
  • Other regional and international languages

However, English remains the primary language for platform communication, moderation and indexing.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Submit plagiarized materials
  • Impersonate another individual or organization
  • Upload malicious or harmful files
  • Submit unlawful, hateful or abusive content
  • Manipulate reviews, rewards or rankings
  • Attempt unauthorized access to platform systems

10. Content Moderation

ResearchEarn reserves the right to:

  • Review submissions manually or automatically
  • Approve, reject or remove content
  • Moderate public visibility of submissions
  • Feature selected works across platform channels

11. Reader Subscription

Access to certain indexed research materials may require paid subscription.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise determined by ResearchEarn.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

ResearchEarn may suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in:

  • Fraudulent activities
  • Repeated policy violations
  • Spam submissions
  • AI-generated content abuse
  • Payment abuse or impersonation

13. Limitation of Liability

ResearchEarn is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ResearchEarn shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Interrupted access
  • Third-party misuse of publicly available content
  • Submission delays
  • Payment processor failures

14. Modification of Terms

ResearchEarn may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
